Energy meters
LEM’s DCES series provides certified energy meters for measuring and monitoring energy in DC systems. It was developed specifically for electric vehicle charging, where reliable energy measurement is essential for monitoring and billing. The DCES series is certified according to MID 2014/32/EU and complies with Eichrecht requirements for billing-grade energy measurement.
The series is available in two versions, rated for up to 600 A and 1,500 A respectively. DCES measures current, voltage and energy, and offers features including cable loss compensation and measurement data authentication. RS485 communication allows the meter to be integrated into a supervisory system. A separate display is available as an option for convenient visual readings.
DCES 600 is designed for DC fast charging and destination charging. DCES 1500 is particularly suited to megawatt charging of heavy-duty vehicles.
