Rogowski coils

Rogowski coils from our partner LEM are used to measure and monitor AC in applications including power distribution, industrial facilities and energy metering systems. The flexible coil can be opened and fitted around an existing cable or busbar, making it particularly useful when the installation is already in operation or space is limited.

LEM offers several models for different environments: ART for indoor installations, ARU for outdoor use, and ARH for installations exposed to high temperatures or in direct contact with the busbar. The coils can be paired with a DIN rail-mounted integrator to provide a signal proportional to the measured current. Without the integrator, a Rogowski coil produces a low AC voltage that depends on how quickly the current changes.
